The Criminal Investigation Department arrested Hefazat-e-Islam central leader and former member of parliament for Sunamganj-3 constituency Shahinur Pasha Chowdhury at his Bonkalapara house in Sylhet on Friday over recent vandalism. The CID said that he was placed before a judicial magistrate court in Brahmanbaria.
