03/08/2021 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – According to Vanguard news, The Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) carried out multiple attacks on the town of Dikwa, Borno State in northeastern Nigeria this past week, causing residents to flee for their safety.
“Most of our people have moved from Dikwa to Ajiri in Mafa Local Government Area.” Kallamu Musa Ali, Director-General for the Center of Justice on Religion and Ethnicity in Nigeria told SaharaReporters, “ISWAP terrorists have re-strategised now, there is really no Christian in that place. If you see Christians, it’s those who work with NGOs or the military, so they hardly attack their fellow Muslims.”
The attack began late in the night on Monday, March 1st, reported the Telegram, stating that ISIS militants took control of the town for hours, attacking and later setting a military base on fire, killing six soldiers and wounding several others. Upon leaving, insurgents also set fire to six military vehicles.
The following Day, March 2nd, gunmen returned to Dikwa, killing two soldiers and wounding others: “The attack was massive because the Boko Haram fighters went there with over 13 gun trucks — all of which had their bodies pasted with mud,” representative Zakariya of Dikwa told the Washington Post, adding that the militants burned down the police station and a hospital before ambushing humanitarian offices. The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC) gained insight from a Nigerian Security source, who stated that 25 humanitarian aid workers took refuge in a town shelter throughout arson attack.
“The people who left DIkwa for Ajiri were young people while the old ones remained.” Kallmu told SafariReporters, “We are only managing, the situation is very terrible.”

Please also pray that the Lord will put an end to terrorism, that he will soften the hearts of ISIS militants and divinely transform all of those who seek to destroy His beloved creation.
